Currently posted as the Creative Lead at NBK (National Bank of Kuwait) - Kuwait, one of the leading banks in the region, handling multitude of tasks within the corporate branding and advertising sector, I manage their digital accounts, brand management along with a handful of offline ATL/BTL advertising material.
It is an ever-growing challenge working at NBK, managing our in-house creative division, overseeing the day to day creative digital and offline campaigns in addition to a few marketing collaterals. Brand management is a core part of my job responsibility, as it is important to have a consistent brand image on every level across all channels. A good number of tactical ads demand quick turnaround
deadlines and the tasks are quite challenging and unimaginable. And that is where my multitasking skills play a pivotal role.
Being a perfectionist can be a pain to some, but that's what defines my ethics and quality of work. I strongly believe in engaging my viewers and try to develop concepts that captivates the viewers' attention. Thats advertising to me.
Strengths and skill sets
If I have to sell a product or service, it is important to understand the brand, target audience, consumer behavior, associative social culture and traditions. I am a vivid observer, keen to understand
consumer behavior on an individual level and how my work would create a social impact on those individuals. I believe it is important to be a people person, a good communicator, mentor and motivating my team to stay on top of their game because that is what gets the ball rolling.
My brand should engage and connect with its audience and if it hits the right cord, then half my battle is won. To hit the nail on the head, I constantly challenge myself to develop a strong concept-driven creative, the perfect content, visual treatment, paying fine attention to intricate detail and craftsmanship, top of the line art direction and plenty more to speak of.
With cross-platform experience in some of the latest Adobe suites, I am a prolific Photoshop and Illustrator user, having hands-on experience in InDesign. Additionally, I have mastered visual
enhancement, manipulation and high-end image retouching, that aids me to bring out the best in both online and offline publication / production.
Creative trends are evolving as every day technologies are taking over the media space and this has opened doors to new possibilities, allowing me to learn new technology trends. I believe in moving with time, discovering new creative methodologies without boundaries.
The world is now more connected than ever before and my audience is more diverse. I would utilize this opportunity to reach out to the bigger mass and build a network of followers that would help build brand loyalty. And how best to do that is to keep developing new strategies that would tap into their mind and allow them to engage with the brand.
